AboutQLStillness is an icon challenge community for the TV series Quantum Leap. The moderator is ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif?v=92.2)
bluetoille who has the only posting access.
New challenges are posted on Fridays; submissions are due on Thursdays by 6:00 pm EST (11:00 pm GMT). Winners will be announced on Mondays.
Challenges
There will four different kinds of challenges
1. Photo – One or more screencaps or photos will be provided for use in your icons.
2. Concept A simple concept will be provided (ex: “time”) and you’ll create an icon using QL images the embodies the concept.
3. Quote A quote from the series will be provided and you’ll create an icon using it as an inspiration – the quote does not need to appear on the icon
4. Hush This will incorporate any of the other three types of challenges except you will not be able to use any visible text on the icon.
Rules
1. Your submission cannot be animated.
2. All submissions must fit LJ parameters
- 100 x 100
- 40kb or smaller
- gif, jpg, and png formats only
3. You must be a member of the community to enter
4. All entries must be original to the challenge
5. Use only images related to Quantum Leap.
6. Do not use fan art without the artist's permission.
7. Do not vote for your own icon.
Submission
1. You may submit up to 3 icons per challenge
2. Icons should be submitted as a screened comment or emailed to qlicons@sbscreencaps.com
3. When submitting your icon it should include the icon itself as well as the url it is located at. Example:

4. New contests will be posted on Friday afternoon and all entries must be received by 6:00 pm est (GMAT-5) on the following Thursday. Voting will begin on Friday and winners will be announced on Monday.
Voting
1. You'll be able to vote for you top three favorites.
2. One vote per person
3. Don't vote for your own icon
4. Voting is opened up to anyone who'd like to vote
5. In addition to the top three, one mod's choice will also be chosen
